Nicely done Spiro.. Keep up the good work.

I think “Rule 41” is the beginning of turning the USA “officially” into a police state, and the majority of people are sleep walking through it… very scary, and I don’t even live in the USA.

    • spiro skouras says:

We continuously see the police state and the surveillance state grow everyday met with little or no resistance. Im not sure which concerns me more, that the government would treat the people this way? Or that the people seem to let the government get away with virtually anything and simply do not care? It appears Ms Edmonds was right when she called this site ‘The Home of the Irate Minority’.
      Thank you

  2. Here it comes! No more free speech in the fight with Russia. A bill just passed the house to shut down “Russian influenced” websites. I use quotations because it is code for places like Newsbud. A we going to have to shut up Kovacevic just to keep you online? This is effed up.

from zerohedge…and even through they humped Trumps leg like Alex, this is still important.
“The section lists the following definitions of media manipulation:

Establishment or funding of a front group.
    Covert broadcasting.
    Media manipulation.
    Disinformation and forgeries.
    Funding agents of influence.
    Incitement and offensive counterintelligence.
    Terrorist acts.

As ActivistPost correctly notes, it is easy to see how this law, if passed by the Senate and signed by the president, could be used to target, threaten, or eliminate so-called “fake news” websites, a list which has been used to arbitrarily define any website, or blog, that does not share the mainstream media’s proclivity to serve as the Public Relations arm of a given administration.”

“Curiously, the bill which was passed on November 30, was introduced on November 22, two days before the Washington Post published its Nov. 24 article citing “experts” who claim Russian propaganda helped Donald Trump get elected.”

The bill is H.R. 6393: Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017

    • spiro skouras says:

      Dr. No
It will be very interesting to see what comes out of this bill H.R. 6393. This is concerning to say the least, we will find out soon enough if the government will target the alt media that does not parrot the official narrative. And if they do, we will do everything in our power to counter them and fight back.

      • On this one you don’t wait to evade this Nazi law. You have the systems in place BEFORE hand. Nazi Newt is wanting to set up a counsel on unamerican activites last I read. This is the new trend the uppity trash is following.

  3. Mark Ribbit says:

I think bill H.R. 6393: Intelligence Authorization Act is extremely important to stop dead in its tracks ASAP.
Sibel did a piece a few days ago on “Newsbud’s Warning on the Fake News Bucket List: Watch out for the Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing”.
While it is certainly advisable for everyone to be on the lookout for fake alt-media sites before subscribing to them literally or figuratively, I think it is much more imperative that action be taken by all concerned parties and individuals to stop bill H.R. 6393 as was stated above, or Newsbud and other alt-media sites that don’t toe the official American propaganda line could soon be out of business. 🙁

This bill seems very ominous to me.

  4. Mark Ribbit says:

On the other hand… this might present a golden opportunity to initiate another action plan.
Marching to Capitol Hill to protest H.R. 6393 could give Newsbud some free publicity. 🙂

  5. It would be nice to do that march, but I doubt most of us can afford to do that. We would need at least 10,000 people for it to mean anything. How would they be mobilized?

I would hope millions of technical types are shoring up ways to evade this censorship. We have our military blow up Syria for the sake of ousting a man who illegalized free speech, and yet here we are, doing the same crap we accuse Assad of.

  6. I didn’t realize Newsbud was going for a semi subscriber setup like Corbett. Will this allow you to lower the next funding goal? And what platform will the next fundraiser be on?
